About Optique Eyewear in Holladay
The people behind every fitting, every frame, every detail
Most eyewear shops hand you a mirror and let you guess. We do the opposite. At Optique, every visit starts with a conversation — about your face shape, your style, your life — so you walk out with frames that actually feel like you.
Our collection spans independent ateliers like Sabine Be and Blackfin to luxury houses like Balenciaga and Saint Laurent. Every frame is hand-selected. Nothing is here by accident.
Or stop by — walk-ins are always welcome
Why We Started Optique
Eyewear shopping in the Salt Lake City area meant choosing between big-box chains with endless racks and department stores with luxury names but no real expertise. Neither put the client first. We opened Optique in Holladay to change that — a boutique where the selection is focused, the service is unhurried, and someone who has styled thousands of faces is guiding you.
Clients drive in from Salt Lake City, Murray, Cottonwood Heights, and Park City. They come back because the experience is personal in a way they haven’t found anywhere else in Utah.
A Curated Collection, Not a Wall of Options
Linda personally evaluates every brand. She looks for three things: craftsmanship worth the price, design that stands apart from mass-market eyewear, and a story worth telling. That’s why French atelier Sabine Be sits alongside Balenciaga and Saint Laurent — each earned its place.
We keep the collection intentionally small. Fewer frames means we know the heritage, materials, and fit of every piece on display. You won’t feel overwhelmed. You’ll find the right frames — not just any frames.
Meet the Team
Linda
Optician & Owner
15 Years in Luxury Eyewear
Linda started her career at Optika, then spent years working directly with Mykita, Cartier, and Chrome Hearts — learning how world-class frames are designed, built, and fitted. That experience taught her something most opticians never learn: the right frame isn't about trends. It's about the person.
She considers face shape, skin tone, lifestyle, and personal style before pulling a single frame off the wall. Clients regularly leave wearing something they never would have picked on their own. And loving it.
Olivier
Co-Owner
Engineering Meets Eyewear
Olivier is a French-American engineer with hands-on experience in glass making and optical materials. He knows why one titanium hinge outlasts another and which acetates hold their color over years of wear. At Optique, he handles quality assurance, testing frame durability and construction so every piece meets the standard Linda sets for styling.
Together, they cover both sides: Linda ensures every frame looks right on you, Olivier ensures it's built to last.
Linda also provides complimentary frame adjustments and fittings — on any frame, from any source. Walk in anytime.
